Our Vision

To establish a strong network of Jaffna Hindu College old boys, former teachers and well wishers within Canada and around the world to provide support to JHC projects financially and morally by promoting the great values of fellowship, excellence, leadership and understanding.

Successful event: JHC- Harley College annual picnic and sports

The annual picnic and sports of JHCA Canada and Hartley College took place on July 01, Tuesday at Sunny Brook Park at Leslie and Eglinton.  This event was a great success and more than 300 people participated in it.  The JHC won the cricket match against Hartley College by 90 runs.  JHC won the toss and elected to bat first.  In the allotted 40 overs, JHC scored 151.  Despite the loss of early wickets, Vino (36 runs), and Logan (31 runs) stabilized the JHC innings to eventually make a competitive total.  Hartley College, in reply was bundled out for 61 runs.  Chandramohan was selected the man of the match for his excellent bowling. Vino was awarded best batsman and Logan Senathirasa was awarded best all rounder. 

Junior soccer match and girls net ball took place with kids showing lot of enthusiasm.  JHC, Hartley old boys, their families, former teachers and well wishers enjoyed BBQ lunch and the events concluded with awards ceremony.  JHCA would like to thank everyone who helped organize this event and also the people who participated in it.
